Numbers don't lie: the first edition of Baritalia Hub has been a great success. In just two days, from the 13th to the 14th of June 2016, at Milan's Ice Palace, more than 2'800 operators of the Bar world have attended over 55 workshops and cooking shows subdivided in five theme areas: from breakfast to after dinner. VBM - Italian producer of espresso coffee machines for both professional and home use - not only engaged the crowd with its booth but distinguished itself among the 43 participating companies because its espresso machines of the VBM Tecnique line were selected to run all the coffee related workshops.
After VBM Tecnique's unveiling, just a few months ago during Host 2015, Baritalia Hub represented a field test machines that were operated by the professionals of the Bar World to prepare the various coffee based recipes. «The ability to precisely control the extraction temperature, and we are talking about half of a centigrade», commented the professional barman and bartender Davide Spinelli, «means being able to decide what taste should the coffee have thus enhancing the taste of the main ingredient for a perfectly brewed espresso». This point emerged quite often during his workshop, titled #hotmeetscold, the world of coffee meets the world of cocktails, during which Spinelli showed how to prepare five beverages ideal for every moment of the day. The revolutionary TS System, in fact, was developed to guarantee a perfect thermal stabilization and control during every instant of the brewing process, coffee after coffee; but that's just one of the innovations developed for the VBM Tecnique line.
«I was quite impressed with the ergonomics of these machines», said Giuseppe Musiu, Italian vice-champion of Latte Art, «they are stylish and pack really advanced technologies». During his workshop he used the Thunder Steam function that allows an instant flow of steam either using the traditional knob or by pressing a button and it facilitates the steam wand cleansing from dew and milk residues. «These characteristics are fundamental», said many times Musiu during his workshop, «because every single client deserved the best cappuccino».
VBM Tecnique machines sport five analog keypad buttons dedicated to the coffee brewing plus a touch display on each group head to easily control all advanced settings and functions. This feature was well received by the technical press, with Nadia Rossi commenting: «The use of a touch display is for sure a great advantage and it is interesting that VBM decided to equip all its new machines with this useful tool».
Many of the speakers and presenters have praised this latest espresso machines by VBM. The Company is furthermore collecting feedbacks and suggestions from these experts of the bar world to improve even further as the philosophy of the VBM Tecnique line is dedicated towards excellency.
